Five cyclists injured in Douglas County crash near Sterling Ranch
There were approximately 12 cyclists riding together on Waterton Road near Moore Road when the crash happened at around 9:18 a.m., according to South Metro Fire Rescue officials.

Five people were injured when a bicycling group riding near the Sterling Ranch neighborhood in Douglas County crashed on Saturday morning.
There were approximately 12 cyclists riding together on Waterton Road near Moore Road when the crash happened about 9:18 a.m., according to South Metro Fire Rescue officials.
It’s not clear what caused the cyclists to go down, spokesperson Brian Willie said. Two were taken to the hospital in “emergent” condition, and one person was taken to ahospital with non-urgent injuries.
Two others were looked at by medics at the scene, Willie said.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office will investigate.
