Westbound Interstate 70 reopened near Rifle after a commercial vehicle crash, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

The highway closed between exit 90 for Colorado 13 and exit 87 for Rifle just before 4 p.m. and one lane reopened as of 7:25., according to a CDOT alert.

Colorado State Patrol troopers responded to the crash at around 3 p.m. after a car caught fire, said Trooper Sherri Mendez. No injuries were reported.
