At 321 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 7 miles south of Blanca to 7 miles southeast of Manassa, or extending from 19 miles east of San Luis Valley Airport to 25 miles south of San Luis Valley Airport, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Manassa, Sanford, San Luis, Blanca, San Acacio, Mesita, San Pablo, Sanchez Reservoir, Jaroso, Fort Garland, Chama, Garcia and southern Spring Burn Scar south of Highway 160 in Costilla county.
