At 129 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles southeast of Eastland, or 20 miles southeast of Monticello, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of west central Dolores County.
