At 1112 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking decaying showers 7 miles southeast of Highland Center, or 12 miles southwest of Holyoke, moving east at 45 mph. These decaying showers produced a wind gust of 54 mph at the airport in Holyoke at 1055pm MT. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northern Yuma and northwestern Dundy Counties, including the following locations... Alvin, Clarkville, and Wauneta. This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 253 and 270.
