Southbound I-25 reopens in Thornton after semitrailer crash
Multiple cars involved in the crash with the tractor-trailer on southbound Interstate 25 were in the process of being towed at 6:45 a.m., CDOT cameras showed.

Southbound Interstate 25 was closed Wednesday morning in Thornton after a crash involving a tractor-trailer, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
Southbound I-25 was closed between exit 221 for 104th Avenue and exit 220 for Thornton Parkway, CDOT officials said. It reopened just before 7 a.m.
CDOT cameras in the area of the crash during the closure showed emergency vehicles blocking the road and standstill traffic stretching out behind. Another camera showed the tractor-trailer stopped in the middle of the highway, fuel leaking out and pooling beneath it.
