At 531 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 19 miles southwest of Fowler, or 32 miles southeast of Pueblo Airport, moving southeast at 30 mph. THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST PUEBLO COUNTY, SOUTHWEST OTERO COUNTY. HAZARD...Three inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured. Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs, siding, and vehicles. This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Otero, north central Las Animas and southeastern Pueblo Counties.
