At 716 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 8 miles northeast of Kit Carson to 19 miles north of Sweetwater Reservoir to 9 miles west of Eads, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. These severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Cheyenne County in east central Colorado.
