Critical fire weather conditions are expected in the northernmost mountains around Walden and Rabbit Ears Pass today, and they will likely be a bit more widespread over the northern mountains and foothills on Wednesday with warmer temperatures and a bit more wind. Over the plains east of the I-25 corridor it will also be breezy this afternoon, which will raise the fire danger. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 211 and 217. North Park and the mountains of western Grand and western Jackson counties. * TIMING...For the Red Flag Warning, from noon today to 7 PM MDT this evening. For the Fire Weather Watch, from 11 AM Wednesday morning through 7 PM Wednesday evening. * WINDS...Southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph today.
