Critical fire weather conditions are expected in the northernmost mountains around Walden and Rabbit Ears Pass today, and they will likely be a bit more widespread over the northern mountains and foothills on Wednesday with warmer temperatures and a bit more wind. Over the plains east of the I-25 corridor it will also be breezy this afternoon, which will raise the fire danger. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 211 and 217.
