A pedestrian was seriously injured in a crash on Alameda Avenue on Wednesday afternoon, Aurora police said.
Aurora Police Department officers responded to the intersection of Alameda Avenue and Sable Boulevard at around 3:15 p.m. for the crash, the agency said on social media.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital and the driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police, according to the department.
Westbound Alameda Avenue was closed for over an hour because of the crash but reopened as of 4:40 p.m.
