Outback parent Bloomin’ names Gagan Sinha CIO

Sinha joined the company in April from Inspire Brands, where he served in an information technology role Bloomin’ Brands Inc., parent to the Outback Steakhouse brand, has promoted Gagan Sinha to chief information officer, the company said this week. The Tampa, Fla.-based company, which also owns the Carrabba’s Italian Grill and other casual-dining concepts, said Sinha will lead global information technology strategy, development, and implementation of all digital consumer and business technology. Sinha succeeds Astrid Isaacs in the role, a spokesperson said. “Gagan’s proven ability to build global teams to lead transformation and innovation will help our company create an optimized digital experience for our guests,” Mike Spanos, Bloomin’ Brands CEO, said in a statement. Sinha joined Bloomin’ Brands in April as senior vice president of technology. Prior to joining the company, he worked with Atlanta-based Inspire Brands, where served as senior vice president of information technology. Before Inspire’s acquisition of Dunkin Brands, Sinha led technology for Dunkin and Baskin Robbins stores globally. Bloomin’ Brands Inc., parent to the Outback Steakhouse brand, has promoted Gagan Sinha to chief information officer, the company said this week.
